What it does
- ✓Converts every page to shades of gray
- ✓Choose 150, 200, or 300 DPI to balance quality and file size
- ✓Runs in your browser, so the file is not uploaded
When to use it
Cheaper printing
Print a colour report or slides on a black-and-white printer without wasting colour ink.
Forms that ask for black and white
Some offices and portals ask for grayscale scans or documents.
Tips
- •Pages become images, so text cannot be selected in the new copy. Run OCR PDF on it if you need searchable text.
- •Use 150 DPI for screen and email, and 300 DPI if you will print small text.
